We headed out one morning for our much anticipated trip to Malcolm Beach.

This is why they say you need a 4x4 when going to Malcolm Beach.

Which ever name it goes by it's pretty well known that it's a tough ride...

It was only one relatively small stretch of the road that was horrible...

After that it was just really really narrow...a bumpy dirt road.

We followed the road as it turned and ran along side the beach.

I called it a circle once...silly me.

We parked and went right when we hit the beach...we walked down a bit and set up camp here. Looking back I can't even see where we parked the car.

The beach is narrow and rocky.

The water was so clear, like nothing we've seen on Grace Bay.

The sun is very hot and there is no shade. Be sure to bring drinks if you make the trek.

I walked a bit to the north from where we sat and around that first bend the landscape changed quite a lot.
Now that's a rocky shore.

I didn't venture further along but a naked booby lady had kept walking by us and I wonder how she made it over these rocks.

It is a picture perfect spot here on the west side of Provo.
